We ordered this table to assist my 92-year-old mother, who had fallen and fractured her neck. It has been so helpful to her that the staff in her assisted-living facility asked for information on where we bought it, so that they could pass it on to other residents.However, two caveats:1. The table is sold from two different vendors, but it is the same table. It matters how the table is ordered (right-side and left-side). Unfortunately, the two vendors label the right/left side opposite from each other. This vendor considers that you sit in the chair to determine the side, whereas the other vendor says to stand in front of the chair. This makes ordering confusing, but we got the correct table.2. There is an instructional video (the same from both vendors) that is essential to use when installing the table. Many commenters said that the written instructions were unhelpful, but that the video was great. The friend who installed Mom’s table is very experienced and handy, and even he ran into problems without the video. The video is missing on this site for the right-side table, but is on it for the left-side version.
