First, let me say the packaging for this and the matching adirondack chairs is stellar. Well-organized so you don't have a mess of styrofoam and other materials. The parts are quality steel, also meticulously organized. The instructions are clear and direct, no missing words, very easy to understand with diagrams. The tables come in two pieces, and it took about 10 minutes for the first one and 5 minutes for the second one (two tables purchased). The only tip I can offer is you might need a second pair of hands, though I did not (for the chairs we did), and inserting the bolts and washers on both sides first, leaving them loose, makes it easier to assemble. Hold both alan wrenches at the same time, one stationary, to tighten. That's it. What a great product! Though Acacia wood is very durable, we purchased a sealant cream for waterproofing because South Texas is a swamp. We look forward to at least 10 years labor free enjoyment. We love how sturdy these are. They are also lightweight and easy to fold and carry. The dark grey stain is uniform with a slightly distressed look (a function of the light staining, not actual wear).
