You get it straight, then you find a bubble, then there’s a bump, the rail isn’t straight…Once it’s on, and I do highly recommend having a professional do it for you (I wouldn’t do it again)It plays so, so smooth.I have a mid range Kasson table. 3piexe 3/4 slate and putting this thing on just made the balls RUN. It’s been a while since I played on a nice felt, longer since I played on a nice, new one, but it’s so smooth. If you get the assembly right, this is the best price point cloth I could find. Lot of higher end play, lot of value for way less than a Simonis would run.If you’re a casual or a home player like me, this is a great option. Use the scraps to cushion your breaks and jump practice so it’ll last longer.Side note - I bought the charcoal because it’s a Star Wars themed basement and it will have a 4ft Lego death start hanging over it with the lights.
