So glad we bought this dog crate! It’s beautiful, easy to assemble and very sturdy. We have a 55lb (crate trained) bulldog and she used to sleep in an extra large wire crate at night. As soon as I got this assembled she went right in and took a nap and now prefers naps in this instead of napping on the couch. She’s only locked inside the crate at night or when we run errands and we leave the door open at all other times. We have to coax her out in the mornings when we open the door unlike when she was in the wire crate and always eager to come out. We wouldn’t recommend this crate for dogs who aren’t crate trained yet since it is made from wood however for us and our bulldog it’s perfect!Update: 11/19/19I just had to write an update because we (and our bulldog) still love this crate and it still looks and functions great! We’ve had no issues with it whatsoever and our bulldog still takes her daily naps in it and sleeps in it every night.Update: 2/13/22The crate still looks new and it’s still our bulldogs favorite spot to sleep. We still haven’t had any problems at all with this and everyone who’s seen it loves the design and how well it goes with our furniture.
