First, the table comes in TWO boxes. My boxes were shipped separately. I got the first box containing the frame, and Amazon said my order had been delivered. So I was anxious, but I decided to wait a day before complaining. Sure enough the second box with the glass top, showed up the next day. Whew! The box containing the glass top looked like it had been through a small war, but I was relieved to find the glass top was in perfect condition.I really like the style - it has some pizazz without being too ornate. The combination of curves and sharper V shapes mean that it can blend in with either masculine or feminine decor. And of course, black goes with almost anything.Assembly was easy. The hardest part was holding the glass top over the frame and trying to center it before setting it down - the suction cups that hold the glass in place don't slide at all. So you have to get the glass in exactly the right spot before you set it down. It helps to have three people for that step - two to hold the glass and one to decide when the glass is in the right spot.It seems pretty sturdy. Don't let your kids climb on it or pull themselves up by the edge of the glass, of course. But it's sturdy enough to not worry that it will tip in normal useLike any glass table, cleanup is easy with window cleaner. Don't drag heavy stuff over it. Use hot pads or cloths under heavy or hot items to prevent scratching the glass or breaking it due to thermal shock. It's tempered glass so it should be fairly tough, but there's no point in risking it!We added felt feet to the table legs because we weren't sure whether they would scratch our laminate. Maybe that was unnecessary, but it's better safe than sorry, especially on a new floor. All in all, it's a great little table for my breakfast nook. Just what I wanted!
