It was a breeze to install and came with a base - but not the screws. I simply used the screws from the beat up one that I replaced. A bit smaller than I expected (my fault) but in truth I like that it's smaller. It leaves more seating room. There are 5 cup holders - 2 for tumblers that fit very well and were stable, 3 for beer/soda cans which I'm sure would work well for cans, but just so-so for beer bottles (I'm a bottle guy). Oh well. Still very pleased.
