The table is super cute and looks great in my living room. But just be weary. It is cheaper materialAnd can strip easily. I told my kids absolutely no food or drinks on here as I’m worried it will destroy the material. Before you put the table together- be sure that the pre drilled holes have all The debris cleared out or this can significantly slow you down. I learned this lesson the hard way. The instructions are very thorough but you need to pay very close attention. My table top lines up perfectly. It was great for the price. I just wish they did a good protective coat over it. The lift portion works great but I think for someone that uses it daily- it will wear down quickly. Good deal for the priceGlad I chose this coffee table! The color is exactly what I was hoping for and the size fits perfectly where I needed it. Love the pull up table! Overall- great coffee table! Happy with my purchase.It assembles like any other particle board furniture that you can buy. Isn’t complicated for anyone who has done it before.The finish does look good and fits with other pieces of the same style of wood from different brands.There are some downsides that you should be aware of. The table top is not the sturdiest, it supports my laptop and the weight of my hands resting on it but it is flimsy when pulling it out or putting it back down. You must pull the table out squarely or the table will get stuck.You need to close the table, or open it, all the way yourself or it will slam shut and anything still on it will slide off the table top. A spring is not a good design for this type of table.I ended up putting a few felt furniture pads under the table top to soften the shutting of the lid. If you go that route then you’ll want to put some under the fixed section of the table so they are at the same height.The other issue is the uneven gap between the fixed section and the folding section(see the two pictures attached). This is probably the hardest to fix and the most annoying downside to this table. It’s an eyesore on what is otherwise a nice looking table.After an hour of trial and error I ended up putting a few washers on the bolts that attach the table to the metal frame underneath(see the last picture). I put them in between the frame and the bottom of the table on the side with the smallest gap(see picture again). Put them on the two bolts on either side of the gap.This did end up mostly solving the uneven gap, however I often have to push the table over towards the fixed top to close the gap a bit.Do not over tighten the screws or they will strip out the wood and only tighten the screws once. They will not tighten properly if they have been tightened once already. They will strip out.All in all it’s an okay table for the price but if you’re looking for a table that you only have to put together and it work then I would suggest looking for a different brand.I really like the table, however, you REALLY have to pay attention to the instructions that aren't well labeled. I had to take it all apart and turn one assembly completely around because they weren't labeled well.It’s exactly what you pay for. It more than does the trick but can feel cheap at times but at this price point I wasn’t expecting ultimate quality. Pretty good looking though and relatively okay to assemble, though definitely get an extra pair of hands. Overall happy with the purchase especially at this price point. Very good for a small space as well and the lift top is pretty sturdy.The assembly instructions were not the easiest to understand and the font was so tiny I had to take pictures on my phone and zoom in to read them. I actually put one panel on backwards but it was the one you attach the magazine holder to which I chose not to use because it’s fabric and doesn’t look right on a piece of furniture. The panel that moves is a bit wiggly but all in all sturdy and I love it!The springs included softly allow the lift table to descend back into its original position. It is slightly longer that I thought seeing it in person than taking the measurements. They included a screwdriver and Allen wrench and that is really all you need. I was able to assemble the table by myself in around 45 minutes. With a second person, which is recommended, we could have finished it within 20-25 minutes easily. I love the hidden drawer and side pouch to put my magazines and save even more space for the top table. The metal frame at the bottom is very sleek, with curved edges to look more sleek but still keep that industrial look of exposed metal. All said and done, great buy with a little time to put it together and save money by doing/ buying it myself. The bottom ends work great with 'sliders' because of their round design.I got this for my boyfriend and he loves it. It seems a little lose although I’m sure I tightened all the screws. It seems to be holding up fine, so no regrets.
