Design Toscano Floral Bouquet Chiffonier Side Table Set of 2 - Elegant Wood Tone Accent Tables for Living Room, Bedroom & Entryway Decor

In the past, I have bought three other Design Toscano products, and they were of good quality. This small table wasn't. The most glaring defect was that the glueing of the legs to the shelf was bumpy and seemed poorly patched. The drawer almost fell out instead of sliding outward. What appeared as inlaid wood on both the top and the shelf instead were decals, and when the piece was delivered there were long, thin scratches in the top decal. The edges of the top did not seem to have been well-sanded before staining/painting because they were not smooth. What looked like gold-leaf finish on the legs in the website photo is sloppily-applied gold paint. Frankly, I do not understand how there were previous glowing reviews on this table, as it was defective in multiple ways. To complicate matters, keep in mind that if you have to return the table, because of the weight (42 pounds) and the size of the box, you will most likely have to telephone UPS for a pickup at your home, and you must be there to sign for it to be returned. My suggestion is that you pass on selecting this table.Awesome tableAwesome!This reproduction of an 18th century baroque original chiffonier side table is exquisite in it's understated elegance.The floral bouquet motif inlaid on the top, sides and bottom shelf is delicate yet vivid and the gilt on the carved legs sets off this piece of furniture beautifully.
