The box was pretty beat up looking, I really thought this ones going back. I was wrong. I had bought this to use as a work bench,but now in not sure about that,it might go in my kitchen. 2 things that are bother some,they way it's designed to be put together fast,ends up scratching the legs up as you pass em throw the bottom shelf. The other is you can see in the one Pic looks like dimples but there from factory welds that hold the fastners for supports underneath. Besides that looks good. It is 18 gauge stainless or somewhere around there ,most likely is mm. Not thick not thin right in the middle. With the supports underneath the top self it's pretty stiff. I cleaned it all down with acetone,then mothers cmx surface prep and then polish with spray stainless cleaner/polish. I might have to get another one
