Hadley 23" Side Table with Storage Drawer - Blonde Wood Accent Table for Living Room, Bedroom & Office | Decor Therapy

Was looking forward to this arriving when I saw a damaged corner. Will be returning it.It was easy enough to assemble for a furniture of this size. The pieces did not feel as though they were going to snap or anything during the process. Once assembled, it stood evenly on the floor with no wobbling in any of the joints so I would say that the pieces were machined well.Only 4 stars for value as it is engineered wood with wood-looking veneer on it.Came in one package and not too heavy. Sturdy material and easy to put together (only 20min). The drawer is not secured tho, and slipped to open while moving.While at some point in my life I disliked particle board furniture items, I'm really liking and enjoying putting together some of these particular items. This may not be real wood, but at its price and considering how easy is to assemble, it is not a bad deal. Engineered products like these have come a long way...I have built similar items in the past with real wood such as pine, oak, maple and so on...But the cost of wood has sky rocketed! Even if made of pine(which its a cheaper soft wood easier to process), expect its cost to be twice as much as the cost of this one...Once assembled, this little table looks gorgeous. The drawer has some "cheap" slides but they roll really smooth. But the pulling knob...WOW...I loved that brushed brass finish, and felt heavy when I installed it to the drawer. Do not expect this to be able to take lots of punishment, but if used for its intended purpose, it should last a long time with tender and loving care. Ideal to set a nice flower vase on top, a tiffany lamp, and so on...The drawer is great for storing the remote for your tv...It also has a bottom shelf for any other decor item. It was very easy to assemble, but you need 2 Phillips screwdrivers, a smaller for the screws and a bigger for the metal anchoring pieces.This is about what I was looking for for our guest bedroom. Its a nice compact and small side table to sit next to the guest bed. Below are my thoughts:Pros:1. Only took about 30 minutes for me to put it together by following the easy instructions. Similar to Ikea, but easier.2. The top has a nice wood grain mimic textrue3. The blondewood is very similar to white oak, which I love as its in our kitchen and provides a nice homey, modern vibe4. Felt pads for the bottoms of the feet so I can move to slide it to vacuum or rearange.5. Very light, which allowed me to carry it upstairs to the guest room with no hassle6. Nice drawer slides so it glides in and out.Cons:1. For the price, it think its a bit on the expensive side as its not real wood.Overall, I am happy with this for a guest bedroom. It h as a nice modern look and feel, and for it being DIY furniture it is a solid peice.Very sturdy and easy to assemble. It has a hardwood look with a great wood wash color. Very modern look. Great product!Decor Therapy's side table comes in a modestly sized rectangular box. The table was nicely protected inside and was damage free. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble. You just need a Philip Head screwdriver and a little patience. The instructions are straightforward.Once assembled the table was the perfect size and height to place next to a recliner. It's large enough to hold a lamp and other personal items on the top, along with a shelf on the bottom for a box of tissues, etc. The small drawer can hold a book and some remotes. The drawer opens and closes smoothly.From a distance it's attractive and stylish. It doesn't stand up to close scrutiny, however, since it is very obviously a fake wood veneer and some of the edges are not particularly neat.All in all... a nice side table that won't be fooling anyone into thinking it is "real" furniture.I got this end table to go in my living room to hold the cable box, Amazon fire stick, etc. Before we put this table there we had it all sitting on top of a big black ugly speaker that wasn’t even plugged in. This looks awesome! The drawer holds all of the extra remotes and anything else small we want to throw in there. My fiancé put this table together in 40 minutes from start to finish. It probably would’ve taken me a bit longer, but I still could’ve done it on my own. He only used a small electric screwdriver. Once he opened the box we noticed everything was nicely separated and lettered according to directions, which are very self explanatory. It’s made well and the drawer slides nicely. The gold knob is a nice touch. The table makes our living room look better! I would definitely recommend this end/side table.
