There was too much free play in the rotation of the table to the crank. It was worse in certain areas of the 360° rotation than others. This would have caused much chatter in the finish as well as poor accuracy. Also, the depth of the counterbore for table mounting holes was too deep, especially on one which was nearly all the way through! Had I tried to tighten a bolt there, it would have certainly broke. Should never leave a factory like that!Update: Seller offered to give me a discount on a future purchase to make up for this. I give them credit for that. Unfortunately, I have already ordered an item from another seller to replace this. It's possible that the problems with this item were an isolated incident and that it simply slipped through quality control. Mistakes happen. For their effort to make it right, I'm changing from 1star to 2 stars.
