One pc. aluminum extrusion with seamlessly welded aluminum end caps. No plastic anywhere. Very solid steel bracketry that supports/mounts them to the truck. I'm 230 lbs. and there is no noticeable flex when I step up on them. There is enough adjustment built into the brackets and boards where you can get them to sit exactly where you want them. Mounts to the factory mounting points on the rocker panels. EASY install. 15-20 minutes per side taking my time.Only gripe and it's minor: I wish the black textured finish (I'm assuming powdercoat) had a little more grip to it for better traction when things are wet or snowy.
