They are exactly what they say they are. The other reviews scared me a little so I’m going to be detailed.*First of all taking points off for wrinkles would not be accurate or fair. Of COURSE they arrive wrinkled, they are packed tightly in a small carry bag. Their description says they RESIST wrinkles. As ironing the 18 I needed would have been ridiculous I had the local cleaners launder them (no pressing needed) and they hung them on disposable tube drapery hangers, these steps took (and kept) the wrinkles right out. No ironing, no steaming. You can wash them yourself and buy a 4-pack of those hangers on Amazon and put 3 on each hanger, voilà! I did not know that would work and was out of time. It did work.*They launder beautifully and as they were laundered prior to the wedding by the cleaners I appreciate that especially.*They are reasonably thick and definitely opaque. They are $10 each for 120” tablecloths keep in mind, they are more than worth that.*The upper side is more satiny, though not “shiny”, just a subtle pleasing sheen. They look beautiful with candlelight. The underside is more velvety and kept them from sliding, loved that bonus.*The edge is exactly as they show in their own photographs. Flat, unrolled, serged edge. Of COURSE there might be a rogue string, you aren’t paying rolled hem pricing for 12 tablecloths. Just cut any offending rogue string off. I don’t even recall needing to but I saw complaints.*Color is true, rich and vibrant. Some of the other reviews said they weren’t opaque, mine were navy and too thick to be sheer. If you buy white or a light color perhaps budget time to run to a party store to put cheap disposable plastic tablecloths under as a liner and remember the price point. The velvety underside will keep them from slipping off.*No time to budget removing wrinkles before first use? Put on tables and spray heavily with a water bottle and smooth. With the weight of table decor to keep it stretched as they dry they should still be fine.*I purchased a portable cordless travel iron to smooth just the tops at the venue but happily they ARE wrinkle resistant and I did not need to do that.*They have now been washed twice and I am so pleased I am keeping them to lend to friends or future (hopefully smaller!!! LOL) events!*Immediately after the wedding they were laundered and piled on top of my washer/dryer while I traveled for 3 weeks and upon coming home to them, most are still wrinkle free!
