APS 5-Inch Black Running Boards for Toyota Tacoma 2005-2023 Double Crew Cab | Side Steps & Side Bars | Off-Road Protection & Easy Entry

This review is for the initial installation, I will follow up with another review in 6months on the product's durability.Tacoma 2012, Crew Cab, install of 5" wide basic black running boards.- Box arrived undamaged- All parts came in good shape with no blemishes and everything straight- The brackets are painted steel.- The running boards is power coated aluminum with a plastic tread-grip on top.- Quality is what you would expect in this price point.- I prepared each bold with a light spray of WD-40 before installation.- As recommended elsewhere, all bracket were installed "loosely" at first to allow for the runningboard to self-align before tightening.- "T-bolts" on the running board are a little undersized so do not over-torque those on installation.- Final tightening sequence was Front-to-back.My wife and I are both small people, 5'4" or less and 145lbs or less. We are able to jump up and down on these and no bracket bending was seen.So far they look good and are on tight. We will see how long they last...
