First, let me tell you that I do indeed love the concept of adjusting the height with an external key. It was one of the main reasons I bouht this. That brings me to my first problem. The retention clip that is on the vertical micro adjustment popped off and of course once it expands it does not go back on. I have ordered more, but it seems such an easy thing to make stronger at the factory. Tightening screws for the fence adjustments are made in such a way that they absolutely hurt your wrists to tighten the whole way, and sometimes they feel tightened when they are indeed not. A painful lesson to learn the hard way sometimes. When assembling, the switch/ outlet box is almost impossible to put together as instructed, because of the lack of space inside the cabinet, andthe have you screwing things together after the lid is on. I really enjoy the extra plug connected to the switch, so I can connect my vacuum for dust collection and it automatically comes on with the router. If you’re going to be using it for wide stuff, you’re going to need to build or purchase a taller fence, but I don’t think that’s just bosch, I think that’s probably most models of this type of router table. All in all, it is a fairly well made portable router table. I’m just disappointed because I expect bosch to solve these few problems that I could’ve figured out if I had a laboratory to do some R&D in.
