Description

GM Genuine Parts Disc Brake Calipers are designed, engineered, and tested to rigorous standards, and are backed by General Motors. Calipers are hydraulic components mounted over the brake rotor. The caliper acts as a clamp to press the brake pads against the brake rotor when the brakes are applied. GM Genuine Parts are the true OE parts installed during the production of or validated by General Motors for GM vehicles. Some GM Genuine Parts may have formerly appeared as ACDelco GM Original Equipment (OE).

Came in new condition. I installed them on my 2014 Cadillac CTS VSport and after bleeding them they work great. Can't believe I had to replace them at 64K miles. After replacing the rotors and pads a couple months ago I started smelling brakes after getting out of the car. It was intermittent and there were no issues with the slide pins so the only option was the caliper itself. I'm guessing the phenolic resin piston got some marring when I compressed it to replace the other pads. The pictures are a mix of the left and right caliper as I replaced both at the same time.
